I’m all about creating user experiences that are both intuitive and engaging. My design journey began with a fascination for how things work and a habit of taking things apart and putting them back together. That curiosity is what drives my UX design, helping me turn complex problems into simple, user-friendly solutions.

My design philosophy blends lessons from my service in the US Navy with my love for martial arts, and is summed up in the mantra "with structure, comes freedom." It’s all about mixing the structure of web design with the freedom of graphic design to create something that’s both creative and functional. For me, great design is about more than just aesthetics and vibes—it’s also about being functional, empathetic, and accessible.

My toolkit spans UX research, UI design, branding, and web development. I’ve used all of these skills to tackle various independent projects, from modernizing old-school arcade game interactions with mobile technology to designing newsletters for veterans and addressing community visual design challenges. Each project gives me a chance to push my creative boundaries, enhance user experience, and contribute to a less distracting world.

I hold a BFA in Graphic Design/Interactive Media from Columbia College Hollywood, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and a BA in African/Black American Studies with a minor in Economics from the University of Virginia.
